1918 Postcard. 2nd Vilnius issue



1918, second Vilnius issue, 20 sk. as horizontal pair (pos. 9-10) with straight line "Kauno pastas" and tied by framed censor mark to card to Munich, with adjacent framed "M.P.k", left stamp with inverted "n" and right stamp with inverted "h", very fine and rare.

Lithuania 1918 postcard from Grodno


Early postal card from Grodno to Hamburg, dated 30.12.1918, the fourth day of issue of Vilnius First Issue stamps, tied by violet Grodno handstamp. One stamps is missing. Censor boxed cachet – “Checked and released, Censor’s Office in Königsberg i. Preußen”. Item from Peter Chevis’s collection.
